Nutrition Coaching

Jess will work with you one on one to design nutrition habits to support improved energy, weight loss and overall health. The coaching relationship begins with a comprehensive nutrition assessment, which occurs in person or via phone/email. Once the information is reviewed, a unique plan is developed with the goal of making simple daily changes in your routine to achieve your goals. Nutrition coaching sessions occur on a weekly basis at a mutually decided upon day and time. Jess will be available for support via email and/or text for the duration of your program with her.

Family Dinner Party

Jess will work with you and your kids to design a personalized healthy dinner plan. The goal of this service is to make dinner selection and prep a family affair. Research shows that kids who participate in meal preparation eat a wider variety of fruits and vegetables. This educational experience will excite and encourage kids to choose healthy foods, assist in the preparation and dine with others. The coaching relationship begins with a nutrition assessment, which occurs in person or via phone/email. Once the information is reviewed, a unique plan is developed with the goal of creating a simple, healthy dinner that the whole family can enjoy. Nutrition coaching sessions occur on a weekly basis at a mutually decided upon day and time. Jess will be available for support via email and/or text for the duration of your program with her

Exercise Coaching

Jess will work one on one with you to design a personalized exercise and nutrition plan to achieve your health goals.  The coaching relationship begins with an initial health assessment to determine the appropriate starting point and road map. She’ll meet with you in person or virtually each week at a mutually decided upon day and time to coach you through your unique program. Your individual exercise program is written and modified on a monthly basis and your progress will be monitored continuously. Jess will be available for support via email and/or text for the duration of your program with her.

I’ve been training with Jess for the last six months and it’s been great. I’ve learned two really important things from her in my training regimen. First, Jess introduced me to dynamic stretching, which I’ve never done before, but it really does help me warm up before a session. And two, I’ve learned the importance of rest/recovery. Jess encouraged me to take a few days off to recover after a tough week of training sessions and yoga, and while I was reluctant, I did it. And it worked - our next session was so much better than usual. I love working with her!

Jess has been my trainer for 5 years. During that time, my strength and flexibility have improved. Jess is very careful to work with whatever injuries and physical limitations I have, so that the workouts remain safe but challenging.  After my rotator cuff surgery, she coordinated with my physical therapist to modify the workouts.

Jess is a lovely person!  I always look forward to our workouts as they are a fun part of the day.  She is punctual and responsible, and during her two leaves of absence while she was having her two children, she always found great trainers to fill in for her.  She remained in contact with them to insure that her absence would not disrupt my program.
